2011 Greatest Hits from the Crowd Science Blog

Crowd ScienceAs 2011 draws to a close, we tend to look back and reflect on the highlights of the previous year. It’s been my first year as editor of the Crowd Science blog and I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished, both in helping people better understand online advertising and market research and in getting the word out about Crowd Science’s mission to save online publishers. The success of some blog posts have taken us by surprise (who know people where so curious about QR codes?) and others have given us a good laugh (It’s All Bacon: Snapshots from a Bad Vegetarian).

So with no further ado, here are the top 10 greatest hits from this year:

1. What is a Demand-Side Platform or DSP?
2. Show Me the Stats: Online Display Advertising Market Size
3. What is Real-Time Bidding or RTB?
4. Facebook Brand Pages Lag Behind in ‘Likes’ Infographic
5. Psychographics Marketing Defined
6. Real-Time Bidding Hurts Publishers and Ad Networks
7. 5 Examples of Funny and Innovative Social Media Campaigns
8. JustAsk! Advertising Attitudes: Irrelevant Ads Frustrate Everyone
9. What is Demographics?
10. What is Firmographics?
